Who I am
A Third Culture Kid Born with a Multicultural Background
I like starting my story with where I come from — because it reveals not only who I am, but also how I think, connect, and create meaning in everything I do.
Here is the story behind my career.
A Third Culture Kid
I’m a Third Culture Kid, born with multicultural DNA, raised between French, English, Spanish, and Arabic, and shaped by the vibrant cultural tapestry of the United Arab Emirates.
Growing up at the crossroads of cultures, identities, and worldviews taught me to navigate complexity with understanding, empathy, and perspective.
This early immersion in diversity fostered my adaptability, curiosity, and ability to build bridges between people and ideas — values that continue to define my professional and personal life.
Navigating Global Issues Through Cross-Cultural Dialogue
My fascination with geopolitics and diplomacy began early, formed by my life ina region facing significant social and economic challenges, where I witnessed firsthand the tensions over resources.
On 14 February 2003, I experienced a defining moment while watching the Second Gulf War unfold.
I realised the profound consequences of global conflict and that, to truly understand the world, I could not remain a bystander.
These experiences have cultivated a strategic mindset.
Leading Strategic Communication in Multicultural Environments
English became the cornerstone of my communication at a very young age, the language that bridges my multicultural background with both my personal life and professional voice.
Having worked in multilingual, high-stakes environments, I have learned that language is never neutral: it carries meaning, emotion, and influence.
As a strategic communications professional, I leverage cultural intelligence and analytical thinking to craft narratives that build trust and strengthen reputations across borders.
I thrive in global contexts where diverse perspectives drive stronger outcomes, and where words have the power to bridge worlds — not merely describe them.
